Have VL 1 lifters, 2 differant lengths? Can anyone help verify?

Fits 40, 50, 70 After Engine # 5192693

Years 1948-1953

We have some McQuay Norris VL 1 lifters.... one box the lifters are a tad bit shorter than the others. The diameter is exactly the same. The tapered inside where the rod sits is lower on the taller lifter making it look like they are the same height as far as the rod reach is concerned.

VL1 Lifters total of 16=$400 + $10 s/h

VL1 Lifters total of 8=$180 $8 s/h
