Need help with 34 Dodge Pickup serial number

I'm trying to determine the serial number on my 34 Dodge Pickup. I would also like to verify the year. It has the body serial number plate on the firewall, but I can't find the serial number on the frame. I looked on both sides but I can't seem to find any trace.

Has anyone registered a car using the body serial number?

He gives a description of the location of the serial no.

Is the serial number on the outside of the frame? Are there other places it might be? How deep are the numbers stamped? Does this look like the spot it would be?

yeah thats basically the spot, or on the other side of the frame in the same spot, mine was stamped fairly lightly - not very deep
