Hi, just got a Olds V-8, probably early 50's. #'s stamped on block are 8A521232H. Thanks, Bob

That engine is from a '50.

'49 numbers ran from 8A1001 to 8A193864.

'50 numbers ran from 8A194001 to 8A568689. H means it was a Hydra-Matic car.

'51 numbers started with 8C.
