ncgirl05 Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 Hi All,Ever have one of those days where you're just too tired to use the "Search" function? I'm having one of those..... On the '89 I just bought, the CRT works sporadically - turn the car on, it's on, turn the car on the next time, it's out, and the dash has "electrical problem".... What's the fix?? Thanks again!!
Guest Reattach_1 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 It could be that the board in the CRT needs to be resoldered. I'll try to find the address of a place that works on our CRTs. I believe the shop's in upstate New York. A few years ago it cost around $80 to have one repaired. I'll look around.
Guest Reattach_1 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Read what others have to say about your problem. If it is the problem with your CRT. The shop is Rex Service Co. 7030 West 111th st. Worth, Il 60482. 708-448-5558
jchudyk Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Check past posts...seems like folks have had poor service from Rex Service.
Guest F14CRAZY Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 techni-car450 gim gong roadoldsmar, fl 34677800-886-0022813-855-0022I found the info above on a sticker on the CRT I recieved from Jim Finn recently. It was dated 1996, so they may not be around anymore, but try calling them.
