Bill Boudway Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 Hi,Does anyone have info on the factory ratio for the rear axle gears of a 1925/1926 Dodge sedan?
Guest De Soto Frank Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 My "Standard Catalog of Chrysler: 1914-2000", doesn't have much to say about rear-end ratios, pre-1927 for Dodge Bros. For 1927-'28, the last years for the four-cylinder Dodge, they list the rear-end ratio as 3.76: 1.The engine would appear to be the same 212 cid four from 1915. Should get you in the ball-park...The Model T Ford also had a 200-ish cid engine, and a GR in the 3.8 vicinity...
