Gascolator parts needed!

I am looking for the gaskets and chamois filter for the sediment bulb on my Stewart Warner Gascolator. Does anyone know of a catolog or a scource for this stuff?

I got both Franklins running great on the old fuel systems! Thanks

I really don't know why these cars needed a Gasolator as my search of the Internet revealed that they seemed to be used primarily on Airraft. I can see this is a need on aircraft as if the engines fails the only way to is DOWN. The word DOWN in aircraft is sometines spelled CRASH. Anyway there are many of them at very high prices on Internet, see below.

Gald you decided to keep the original vacuum system. They do work well for me.

So 10 years later, here I am with the same question.

 

When I bought my 1926 Franklin 11a it had an electric fuel pump on it, but I got separately the Stewart Warner vacuum tank and gascolator. I've taken it all apart to clean 90 years worth of crap out of it and hopefully can get it all working again as original.

 

So I too need the bowl seal - R4512 on the diagram, and the seal R-4513. The filter is part R-4510 - chamois covered filter. I have the frame of that, but the chamois is long gone. So

 

1 - anyone know of a source for particularly the main bowl seal, and the seal that goes between the filter and the housing.

 

2 - I have looked online but can't find much mention of a source of replacement filters, but I have the framework of the filter, so could take it apart and cover it in chamois if someone knows what thickness the chamois might have been? (We do have some super thin chamois that my wife got some years to make a set of bellows for a cuckoo clock - I don't know if that's too thin?)
