drwatson Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 This 8 X 11in. photo came from a Cape Cod antique shop years ago. I figure the car is about 1907 but does anyone have a clue about the make?
1937hd45 Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Very nice photo! The grab handle loops on the ends of the arm rests were the first clue that this is a Stevens-Duryea, built in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, it is the big six cylinder Model S.
1937hd45 Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Here is another Stevens-Duryea from the same era, the small six. One of my favorite car & dog photos. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

The mystery photo I posted apparently was used in production of a 1907 1908 prestige catalog currently listed on eBay.http://cgi.ebay.com/1907-1908-Stevens-Du...7QQcmdZViewItemThe eBay site shows an image that looks like my "mystery" picture less spare tires and with shifted shadows. Thank you again for solving the "mystery Brass car" photo: It's a 1907 1908 Stevens-Duryea Big Six Model S.
