Guest BJM Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Am I too late for the big Wisconsin swap meet? I don't remember the details, I thought the name was Krause/Old Cars?? Where is it located? When is it? is it worth going to for Buick and Pontiac car parts 1930's through 1969? Any thoughts please - Jake
pint4 Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Unfortunately you missed this year's show. It is normally scheduled for the the first weekend after the 4th of July. This year's show was held July 6-9, 2006. The show is huge. Over 3700 vendor spaces, a car auction, over 2,000 show cars and a huge car corral. Visit their website at: www.iolaoldcarshow.com. Plenty of Buick parts and other GM parts. And the prices are a lot better than Hershey. I love the show! I've been attending this event for the past 25+ years. I suggest you attend if you can fit it in to your schedule next year. Next year's show is July 12 to 15, 2007. Thursday is also a big day with 90% of the vendors set up and ready to deal.Hope you can attend. Mark your calendar now!Bob
Guest BJM Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Thanks Bob. I'll be there. Not much to do that time of year anyway, heading into the dog days of summer and it's bound to be cooler up that way. I just didn't know the details.jake
