unknown hood ormament

I recently bought what appears to be, was also told it was a hood ornament off a british vehicle. My best guess is as to the material is stainless steel due to color a magnet stuck to it, it is a lion with his left rear paw on the base the right rear paw is raised and resting on a block with the words TRADE MARK on it his left front paw is on an oval with the words JUSTICE AND STRENGTH with the Union Jack in the center of the oval. if you've any ideas what this is from...
