34 coupe registration

Hello,

I am interested in building a 34 coupe kit car. I live on Long Island NY.

The NYS department of motor vehicles makes this difficult. I heard that you can purchase registrations for an origional 1934 Ford Coupe.

If this is true could you please advise. I will not start this project if I cant register this vehicle.

Also can someone recommend a kit car manufacture?

Welcome to the AACA Forum, Tony. You need to pick up a "Street Rodder" magazine at your local store. They're full of these manufactors, plus you'll find the phone number to ask them about registering their "kit cars". This is an antique web site. We work with original vehicles only.
