Poss Part out 89

If I decide to part out my 89 2.2 car, what would anyone be interested right now? Decently clean car, 64k, normal wear on seats, everything else works save for the trans which is quietly passing away...

Jeff you would really part your car for a bad trans? I've parted plenty of cars for different reasons but never a good car for such a relatively minor issue <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

It's a relatively good car, not minty by any means...same boat as the other fellow who could only get a couple grand for his but parted out for 3500. I'll be approaching $8k in itw/ atranny and maybe it'll fetch 3000-3300....maybe...

I need to drive another TC to compare it to mine and see if mine's quirks are part of the breed.

If the only thing holding up you driving the car I have a transmission for your car in good working condition, it is an older rebuild was running good when pulled out of car e-mail me tc255@optonline.net maybe we can work out a deal.
