Guest Rob1960 Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 The Windshield Crankout mechanism has broken on my 1936 Dodge. The crank had been really stiff to turn. Finally it made a "snap" noise and now turns freely without moving the windshield at all. The windshield is partially open. My questions are: (1) Does the whole mechanism have to be replaced? Or could it be repaired? (2) How difficult is it to remove the mechanism? And how is it done? (3) Is this mechanism the same for all 36 MOPARs? Thanks,Robert Perryrobertperry@citlink.net
