Hi Matt,

Have you tried Rector Seal's book "Maryland Automobile History 1900-1942"?

It has about 1 1/2 pages of information and a photo of the Paragon built by the Paragon Automobile Company that began in Connellsville, Pennsylvania and moved to Cumberland, Maryland in 1921. I am on the road during this week but will email the information on the Paragon from my copy as soon as possible.

Sorry, I had the wrong Paragon. I didn't see the date and posted info on the 1906 company that was in Detroit.

I had a great uncle who purchased stocks in the Paragon Motor Car Company back in 1921. I was given an envelope by my father, who is now deceased, that contained numerous items from my great uncle.  He was interested in cars.  Stock in Wonder Motor Truck Company from 1917. They were the manufacturer of the Coey Flyer. There are also two stock certificates and some correspondences to him from the Paragon Motor Car Company that you mentioned in your post.  There are Paragon Motor Car Company stock certificates (#837 dated 13th July 1921 and #1038 dated 7th October 1921) are signed by Philip W. Blake, President and F(?) E Markell, Treasurer.   Also there is a Memorandum Receipt signed by Chas E Goodyear. There is another letter on their company stationary listing their Executive Offices 133 Baltimore Street Cumberland, Maryland.  And "Authorized Capital Three Million Dollars" This letter is signed by A. F. Kuhn, Asst. Cashier and is quite interesting in content. Let me know if any of his will be of help to you in your research or if you want more information.
