Had a '90 3800 with 80k that lost both center cam bearings & wound up in pan. Oil pressure went to 20 max and zilch at idle when warm (dealer said was guage). Wound up replacing the engine. Guest Posted June 13, 2001 Share Posted June 13, 2001 I have a white 1991 Reatta Coupe with 89000 miles. Recently, it began having engine problems. When I took the oil pan off there was 2 silent shaft bearings. Other than this problem, the car is in excellent condition. The transmission has been rebuilt within the last 5000 miles.
