Guest BJM Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 I have seen this on ebay before and I have corresponded with this seller on other cars. He is in northwest Minnesota so he doesn't sell many due to distance. Still, a bucket seated wagon. I wish he had more photos but he runs several ads at once usually. I'm guessing it's a 63 LeSabre but I thought I saw a 64 wagon at the St. Louis National that had the same taillights, but a 64 grille.Still an Ionia bodied wagon I think. Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't 64 the last year for a full size wagon until 1970 or so?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1963-64-b...1QQcmdZViewItemJake
Redrob Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 As far as I can tell, that is a 1963 wagon. The 1963 and 1964 full size wagons both used the 1963 taillights. The noses and sides were year-specific. The 1961 and 1962 full sized wagons both used 1961 tailkights, so reusing the taillights had a pattern. I doubt that the bucket seats are original to the car-I'd bet that they are 1963 correct bucket seeats, but from a Wildcat. I don't think anybody had bucket seats available in any wagon at that point. 3jakes, you are correct. The 1964 full sized wagon was the last one until 1970. I'd love to see someone create a 1965 or a 1967 LeSabre Estate Wagon!
