stock_steve Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Seeing as how I only received one car registration card in the mail, and I want to register two cars for the Hershey car show, I tried the online method today. All looks good until I go to print out the receipt for the first car. Now the system won't let me go back and register the second car (even after several attempts, restarts, etc.)!?!?! So, I called up the AACA and requested a second car registration card, and once it's received, I guess I'll register both cars at that time "the traditional way"...
novaman Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Doing this from memory (or what's left of it <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />), I believe when you log in you need to add any other cars you want to register then select the ones you are going to show and print one reciept for all of them. I haven't had to do this as when I register two cars they are under two different names (mine and my parents).
stock_steve Posted July 21, 2006 Author Posted July 21, 2006 Thanks Novaman--looks like I screwed up by trying to print out a receipt before I registered both cars. In my own defense, I don't recall it being obvious that it had to be done that way. Oh well, back to the old standby method... Thanks again!
novaman Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 Steve, I like the internet registration but the program personally isn't quite as user friendly as it needs to be. With my computer knowledge, I stumbled my way through it the first time, not quite sure what I was doing. I can imagen what it would be like for some of our memebers that have a hard enough time just sending an email. That's one reason I register my mom's car. She's afraid she'll screw it up. This way she can just blame me. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />I haven't said anything about the program because I haven't been able to figure out what it needs to make easier for newcomers.
