Guest dnoz Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 I have a 1913 Buick model 25. The steering has too much play (8" left to right TDC). The gearbox is a JCW model 91976 and made in Saginaw Michigan. It also appears to bear the code CICR. The brass steering column also houses spark and throttle control which come out of the front of the box. Does anyone have a books, diagrams or whatever. How does it come apart - i.e. can you take the gearbox off the bottom of the shaft without removing the column or input shaft from its position. I'd appreciate any help. My goal is to rebuild the box.David Nozneskydnoznesky@aol.com
