Walsh Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Let me start by saying I bought these at a flea market and researched them on the internet. My title to this ad is taken from one I found for sale and that is what he called it....so I called mine that too! These are used parts and untested, however I did apply voltage to the terminals and the plungers snap out so I believe them to work. Why they were removed in the first place I do not know. OK, details. They are part number 1126633 (Autolite SSS-4003, 6 VOLT DC). They fit 1949-1954 Dodge 6 cylinder; D46, D51, D51-1A; 1953 and 54 Dodge 8 cyl.; 1949-1953 DeSoto 6 cyl.; 1952-53 DeSoto 8 cyl.; 1949-1953 Chrysler and Imperial 6 & 8 cyl., C56, C58, w/Gyro-Matic, Tip-Toe-Shift or Underdrive transmission. I have two of them and one is in the old Autolite box. I want $20.00 delivered by insured priority mail in the USA for each one. If you want both the price will be $35.00 delivered. Checks have to clear before I will mail the item. St. Charles, Missouri. Thanks.
Jon Robinson Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 I'll take them both. I'll send you a check, and if you need to keep it for a while to make sure it clears, that's fine. E-mail me, so we can exchange mailing addresses and details. By the way, I live in California, but I know the old St. Charles very well. It's a fun town, and I always spend some time walking around the old downtown and walking along the river. jrobinson@uia.netJON
Walsh Posted July 18, 2006 Author Posted July 18, 2006 Thanks Jon. Both solenoids are yours. An email is coming your way with details. HW
