You once posted this, but it seems like it had more to it. Did you make it up?

Not to worry, like other desireable collectible cars, there will always be enthusiasts who are willing to deal with them. Picture, if you will, the young man in his rough condition collectible car, the fifth, (or 12th), owner. He works on it every weekend, and sometimes "en route", just to keep it on the road, because he LOVES to drive HIS too-cool car. He spends time in boneyards, on eBay and at forums, searching for parts and technical information for HIS glorious ride. He can rebuild it, make it better! Like Lee Austin, the six-million dollar man. It's not just a car to him, it's a conquest, an affair, or maybe a life long commitment.

It emminated from the ether, which is to say, when I write, I allow the thoughts to flow from my consciencious to the page, feelings, facts, errors and all.

I rarely proofread my work, or spell/grammer check it, that one seemed to come out okay, huh?

My spelling is better than my keyboard skills, I'm up to using 3 fingers on each hand! A decade of CAD/CAM design and programming has left me a one-handed typist, always drawing with the mouse, my right hand never learned to type.

It sounds pretty good. Should be a poem or something

I was taught the definition of poetry as "The BEST words in the BEST order" and that poetry is nothing more.

I always strive to "wax poetic" but sometimes my not-so-nimble fingers get in the way, on the keyboard.

Generally, quick responses lack poetic structure, I spent a bit of time composing the post to which you referred, Philip. It was a lobour of love, I love cars, especially my Reattae.

Its like what I always say.

Why buy a new car when there is spare parts around for the one you already love?

Yet, yours is more pretty. And mine came about because I'm poor and enjoy working on things. Finishing them is another story.
