mikenann Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Hi you allI do not know if any one else has ever posted this but here goes anyway. The outside front door window rubber mouldings can be made from any Lebaron rubber moulding. As you know these little buggers get hard and break up after years of us. But all you have to do is get some Lebaron mouldings (1989-1993?) and carefully measure and trim to fit. If you do it right you can even use the same attaching screw holes. These are easily gotten at your local pick and pull salvage yard for 2.99 each. Not bad for a real cheap fix and improves the look and makes the window tighter.Mike
Guest mtworkshop Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Good Idea! Now what are your thoughts on door gaskets and rear window gaskets??
mikenann Posted July 10, 2006 Author Posted July 10, 2006 AAH No thoughts on those items. Why do not need but will take look at and post.mike
Joe47 Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Talking about rubber...anybody know where I can get the trunk gasket ? I tried STEELE RUBBER PRODUCTS but they don't sell for "imports". Joe 47
Guest slyrose Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 What about the weatherstrip that is on the conv't top? The rubber that goes around the top of the window? My weatherstrip is damaged at the fold, at the middle of the front window. Anyone tried any replacement? Thanks!
