465nailhead64 Posted July 5, 2006 Share Posted July 5, 2006 I was wondering if any one had any info on a 465 Nailhead Buick. I am looking at a 64 Buik Rivera with, supposedly, a 465 Nailhead V8. I thought Buik only made a 425 Nailhead. Also this Rivera is a two door with bucket seats and an automatic. The other thing is that there is a brass plate on the center console that states that the car was "specificaly built for" and then has a guys name. The only info that the current owner could give me is that he got it from a guy in Valdosta Georgia. Any ino would be gratly appreciated! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest brh Posted July 5, 2006 Share Posted July 5, 2006 Buick put torque ratings on the air cleaner rather than cu in. That car should have a 425 cu in engine with 465 on the air cleaner. Also look to see if she has dual four barrel carbs. One hell of an engine just a little tough on gas mileage. Also she burns premium only!!
