Roadster90 Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Looking for any updates on the "amber globe" turn signal problem. Has anyone found any new resolutions please.(I have found Vincent Vegas repair instructions post under "globe" and dated 9/12/03).
manikmekanik Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 It's the globe inside the housing which is amber, not the bulb itself. If your globe has lost it's amber color, you can use metal yellow dykum to color the bulb, and possibly the remaining globe housing, to get the amber t.s. back.
Roadster90 Posted July 1, 2006 Author Posted July 1, 2006 I went ahead and bought a lens from Jim Finn <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />....Will practice Vincent Vega's repair procedure on my old lens after I replace it.
