Thermostat Spring

Well if it's not one thing it another. I guess everything is a learning experience. While I was fitting the Draft tube I noticed that the Heat riser thermostat spring (I guess thats what its called) is missing. Anybody have an extra one they want to sell? Also if there a specific procedure for installing it so it's adjusted correctly?

Kanters has the spring and it comes with instructions, i bought one, but i think i can find one locally of another car to fit the other cars that i have..
