vacuum gauge

Thank you, Randy! The vacuum gage is a valuable tool that I haven't seen mentioned in many moons. Scenario 11 mentions ignition timing.. As I remember timing instructions from years ago, that is one way to set the timing. The instructions were a bit more detailed, but there isn't much more one can say. When that vacuum gage finally surfaces from the accumulated stuff in my garage, I'll post the instructions in full.

Nice find Randy. I booked marked that site for future reference. I will have to start add these links to the website for people to reference. For that matter any logged-in user can add links to the website on their own.

If you are looking to save a few bucks and don't care if it looks exactly like the original, Napa carries RC-6 (55-56), RC-7 (53-54), and RC-10(40-52) generic replacement caps.

It's like the fake Packard pelicans with plastic wings that light up <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

By the way those are Pelicans, not cormorants. PAC notwithstanding, they should really rename that the Pelican News Bulletin or the Packard News Bulletin.

When I was a kid (gosh, so long ago) I always thought the Packard bird was a swan with that graceful long neck. Cormorants are black and justifiably so - they are a lousy bird, much like crows or ravens. This argument has been done before and I guess some just think cormorant sounds better than pelican.
