Guest MauiWowee Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Hey, it's got the F-14 wheel treatment!
0ddi0 Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 what color is the interior and is it in good condition? Maybe post a couple of interior pics.
alexhouston Posted July 1, 2006 Author Posted July 1, 2006 Grey - looks not bad condition. Door panels appear good. I'll have to check closer if interested. Seats are solid but need recovering. Carpet ruined. Will post more photos.
alexhouston Posted July 1, 2006 Author Posted July 1, 2006 another photo, I can only seem to get one per post.
Tom_O Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Hi,I have a 90 so I know that most of the interior plastic won't work (they changed it just enough).I would be interested in both remote mirrors and all the components that go with it (wiring and controls).I would like to put a set of power remote mirrors on my Avanti. I live in Willis Texas so no shipping would be involved, since I could pickup and help remove what I needed. I will try to call you after the holiday weekend. If you are favorable to my wish, We can settle material values over the phone. Let me know what you think, by replying to this request.
Guest CL_Reatta Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Hi, I would be interested in the black Reatta scripts that go in the door sills (sorry, I have a limited vocabulary at 2 in the morning) these things, as you can see the one I found is broken. and the metal cover that goes on the trunk lock (If it is still on the car)that goes here: I have no clue what the value of those things are so quote whatever you want and work from there. Thanks
alexhouston Posted July 1, 2006 Author Posted July 1, 2006 Tom_O Just give me a call at 281-772-7647. (Preferably after 7 or weekends, this would be a good weekend since I will be in town) Thank-youCL_Reatta I don't have a metal cover for the trunk lock. I also don't think it would be wise to try to remove the logos from the door sills. I do have the door sills with the Logo. Please call or e-mail so we can establish a value and get straight on shipping address.By the way, please explain to me how you added those photos in you reply like that. thanksapinyoz@houston.rr.com Alex
alexhouston Posted July 1, 2006 Author Posted July 1, 2006 Headliner has a couple of small imperfections but pretty nice. Looks like one minor cigaret burn just back of the rear view and one small scratch just over the drivers head (hardly noticable). If you are interested I can get a photo.
Guest F14CRAZY Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Haha! If you ask me they look better without the "pie tins". More performance oriented. My stock wheels are corroded pretty bad anyway.Isn't Claret with grey a rare combination? I'd think more Claret cars would be claret, then maybe Saddle.
Guest crtnrds Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 My '89 is Black w/ grey interior but has gold over red stripeing.
Tom_O Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Alex.Nice meeting you in person. The mirrors are now stored away with all my Avanti stuff waiting in line for my mechanic to "choose" to work on it. I really enjoyed seeing the "Riv-iatta".
Barney Eaton Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 CL Reatta....... I have a kit to repair the trunk lock.It contains instructions, the two parts needed and two new springs. These are new part and the kit is $8.00It takes about 90 minutes to do the job because you must remove the tailight asm. the black panel under the bumper to get to the lock assembly.
redrea Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 sorry bout the delay, i was on the road and didn't have access to the internet. i would like a photo of the headliner. mine is falling fast.
alexhouston Posted July 12, 2006 Author Posted July 12, 2006 Sorry - headliner is already comitted now.
