For sale: 1939 Buick special . 2 door sedan, model 48. Rare, 1 of 21,000 made. 77,000 original miles. Original mohair interior (carpet and front floormat replaced with nos), optional fender marker lights, Trippe senior driving lights, radio and heater. First year for turn signals. Everything works, and works well. Car runs and handles well, original interior in great shape, body very solid. Some glass replaced in the 1970's. Driver's door glass has three splits, but that is how its been since I bought it 10 years ago. Car has always been garaged for past 10 years. New water pump, radiator, hoses, carburettor, fuel pump, master cylinder, and wheel cylinders. Repaint by previous owner. Bumpers rechromed, rest of metal original and in great shape.
