classified ads

I realize there has been some debate on this site as to whether or not to allowed classified ads, so I wanted to share an opinion with you. A few weeks ago I posted an ad for a '90 Reatta. I was lucky enough to get responses from two gentlemen, both out of state, who were interested. We had some great conversations about our cars. I would not have reached them through the local paper, and I didn't have any luck on AutoTrader. This site is wonderful in hooking up people who want Reattas with those who want to sell them. Thank you for allowing it, and I hope it's never abused. I ended up selling my car locally to a woman whose Reatta had been hit last fall, so it was a win-win situation. I had my Reatta for ten years, and enjoyed it thoroughly. It's a great car.
