Peter Gariepy Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Looking for King Midget owners!I've got a 61 and am just now starting the restoration.Looking to rub shoulders with others familiar with KMs.Peter
Guest mike burgess Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 I know what you can do. Get in touch with Steve Moskowitz so you can contact Joy(The cute one in Philly who won the national award last year with her King Midget.)and get some information about her.
Peter Gariepy Posted June 25, 2006 Author Posted June 25, 2006 great idea mike!i had forgotten about that car and award!peter
novaman Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Wayne, I think you need to keep and eye on your son there with his comments of "The cute one" and "and get some information about her". We know where his mind is since he never mentioned getting info on the CAR! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
ronbarn Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Peter, Got a friend down in Shreveport, LA, who has restored several KMs and probably has all the parts and contacts you need. He is not on line so we may have to handle this off line if you are interested.

Guest Jarney Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 Reviving an old thread - got one sitting on the lift right now, trying to do some work to it. Any update on yours Peter Gariepy? Was it tough to get down to the bare frame - that's the only pic I see? Seems to be a lot of broken links and missing pics here and there. Later.

All of my attempts to work the links resulted in the following message: "The page you requested does not exist", "Error Code 1S160/2". Cheers, Grog
MCHinson Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 I am not sure how many software changes the forum has had in the 10 years since that post was made. I think it is three total software upgrades... There is probably no way to recover the broken links. Hopefully Peter will chime in and give an update on his King Midget.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't even notice the age of this thread! I'll try to be a bit more observant in the future. I'm pretty sure that 10 year old links would not work, regardless of the forum involved. Cheers, Grog
