cluster problems.

i have been an automotive electrican for over 20 years and currently own ronnies auto electrical repair in miami fl. i have built my 1990 reatta to 95%restoration condition but out of everything i have done to this car the one thing that has been giveing me a serious problem is the cluster .i have replaced 2 clusters and went through dozens of diagrams checking for this problem. sometimes the cluster works and sometimes it dont has any had this problem before and what did you do to cure the problem all information would be useful

Ah, a '90. Common problem. Check the archives for folks who repair these, or get another IPC out of a '90-91 Riviera in the salvage yard.
