1961 Electra gas tank sending unit & float wanted

I am working on a 1961 Electra, and the sending unit in the gas tank is so deteriorated that the float disintegrated, and the float rod is as thin as a thread. This is a two-wire sending unit, so I'm told that 1962 will not work. Does anyone have a rebuildable unit I can purchase? I've tried all of the ususal sources: CARS, Inc.; Wheatbelt Auto Parts; Bob's Automobilia; Classic BUicks, etc.

Try Desert Valley in Phx, a few years ago I got just such a sending unit for my 61 electra 225 convert, needed one with A/C bypass, and pulled it out of a great shape parts car, maybe they have a few more left.
