Blue90 Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 My turn signals are slow and intermittent. I want to change the flasher; I can follow the clicking but then I lose it somewhere to the right of the steering wheel under the dash. Enlightenment please. Thanks
Don B. Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 I don't believe there is a flasher. It is done thru a standard relay.I think they are on the passanger side. There are other relays and fuses behind the consol side panel around the fuse access plate.
Barney Eaton Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 Depends on the year of your Reatta.1988-89 had a turn signal module...never tried to purchase one, don't know if they are available at auto parts stores or only from GM.1990--91 has a conventional flasher that can be purchased almost anywhere.
Blue90 Posted June 7, 2006 Author Posted June 7, 2006 Thanks Barney. I have a 90 coupe. Where would the flasher be located?
bwarren Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 On a 91 which should be the same for 90, the blinker and the 4 way flasher are both located either above or below the storage compartment in front of the shifter. Sorry I can?t remember for sure. As I recall it was not that easy to get at with out some disassembly of the center console and possibly loosening up the fuse panel on the driver?s side. Brian
