Guest mtworkshop Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 When I first start my 89 SOHC Light Yellow on Ginger chariot, I roll down the driver's window and then the passinger window. Then the driver's window rolls up and then the passinger window rolls up and won't go back down until I once again lower the driver's window. Today it did it three times! Is this car haunted? or just smarter than I am? <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
ghostymosty Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 What happens if you roll them both down at the same time? The switch may be malfunctioning. Also try rolling down the drivers then use the switch on the passenger's door to roll down that one and see if it still does the rotten deed.
Willhelm Reichert Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 I wasn't going to say anything but isn't your city on the northern border of N.C where everybody talks like Yogi Bear??? ( May be another cartoon character since it' been 36 years since I was there)I would guess the contacts are tired in the switches. My mind is whacked right now from resurrecting a Daytona Z right now, but I believe it's a Chrysler switch used on Lebarons. At least the contacts are.
Guest mtworkshop Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 Yep, that used to be true about how the folks here talk. Now they mostly talk like New Jersey Yankees. Housing prices have gone through the roof and we have two light yellow TC's in this town. The other one is a six sillynder.
