To properly chrome wheels, you have to take them apart. That means cutting the weld, plating them, and welding them back together.

If you don't do it that way, it's impossible to properly buff where the center and rim meet. Also, the cheap chrome wheels that are done in one piece, are yellow at the joint. If they aren't to start with, they soon will be.

If you can find a wheel plater that can take them apart, plate them and put them back together, you're in business.

It has to be someone who knows what they are doing, and has the right equipment. You just might be going 100 MPH some time, and you want to know the wheels are perfect!!
