100th Anniversary of Kissel Motor Car Co.

I just wanted to herald the fact and bring to everyone's attention that the Kissel marque is 100 years old this year, 1906-2006! There will be a celebration in the company's home town of Hartford, Wisconsin this June. Though there aren't probably more than a hundred surviving vehicles out of a total 1906-1931 prodction of perhaps 35,000 automobiles, trucks, taxis and professional vehicles, long live the memory of the Kissel through those of us who own and/or appreciate the unique and quality-built products of this historically interesting and rather innovative little company. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
