I've seen several articles on vehicle conversions, mods, etc that mention using a 6 volt fan by "Scotts Fans"

The following is a description I found of Scotts Fans:

Scotts Fans - 6 volt fans in 10" to 16" shroud applications. Almost all 6 volt fans are in a 14" shroud size and in a pusher configuration. Used for backup auxillary cooling in slow moving traffic, cruising or parade applications. All fans come with installed kits and with 25 Amp toggle switches for manual operation when needed. Mounting can be through the radiator core or hard mounted (bracketed) to a core support etc. Only one motor is available in 6 volt. Height is 3 1/4" total, pricing is $140.00 each in 14" size.

I cannot vouch for Scotts Fans nor am I endorsing their products as I do not have any personal experience with them. I'm only passing this along as I have seen Scotts Fans mentioned a number of times in articles as a supplier of 6 volt automobile cooling fans. Might be worth a try.

Hope this helps.

Check out FIFTH AVENUE (www.fifthaveinternetgarage.com). They advertise

both push and pull type fans for 6 and 12 volt systems and include all

the stuff needed for installation. at a price of $150. Go to page 3 of

their PARTS COUNTER section.

Like BruceW, I?m just passing this along.
