Any help? </div></div>

The serial number, 6,586,288, falls into the sequence 6,576,001 to 6,592,816 - which is for model CO, which is a 1933 Chrysler Six.

The engine number, P23-731541, is for a Plymouth - "P", while "P-23" makes it a 1951-52 engine. With number "731541" I suspect is is from a 1952 model.

Not sure how to decode the body number, though.

The grill shell is 31 CM six cyl. and the dash is also late series 31.

re: Body No- CC-264-Cm

By chance did you transpose the numbers?

Typical sequence would be CM-264-CC if compared to other early MoPars.

CM is 1931 Chrysler six, Serial 6520501-6557326 Detroit, 9751601-9753600 Windsor

264 is body sequence

CC is designation for convertible coupe

I looked in a 1931 Chrysler six parts list and I did not see any body code examples. Wasn't there a WPC magazine from about 20 yrs ago featuring 1931 CM and showing pics body panels and related data?
