With number "731541" I suspect is is from a 1952 model. Not sure how to decode the body number, though. BillVancouver, BC
mymolalla Posted May 21, 2006 Author Posted May 21, 2006 It seems to have been pieced together. The dash that I've attached is not that late of an issue, closer to late 20's 1930, agree?
Guest imported_24Chry48 Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 The grill shell is 31 CM six cyl. and the dash is also late series 31.Greg Biskey
dep5 Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 re: Body No- CC-264-Cm By chance did you transpose the numbers?Typical sequence would be CM-264-CC if compared to other early MoPars.CM is 1931 Chrysler six, Serial 6520501-6557326 Detroit, 9751601-9753600 Windsor264 is body sequenceCC is designation for convertible coupeI looked in a 1931 Chrysler six parts list and I did not see any body code examples. Wasn't there a WPC magazine from about 20 yrs ago featuring 1931 CM and showing pics body panels and related data?Dan Phenicie
