Oilfilter to a ST 300 automatic transmission

Hi,

I have buoght a oilfilter to my ST 300 automatic transmission, but it will not fit. I tried to get the new filter in place but the thing that happend was that I broke the new filter when I tried to push it in to the hole in the gearbox. When I messaured the diameter of the "pipe" was it 1 mm (1/25 inch) bigger than the "pipe" on the old filter. Is there anyone that know if there any manufactur of filter that fits better or what filter i shall buy to not get the same problem. I live in Sweden so I'm not sure what manufactuers I can get but come with proposal, I might can get something that will fits better, in other case I have to try to modify a filter so it fits better.
