gas prices and car shows/tours

With higher fuel cost I'm planning on cutting back on driving my car to shows and tours with my car club. Wondering if the high fuel cost will limited your driving as well? Mark

Not for me. On a 1,000-mile trip and getting about 20mpg, the difference between paying $2 per gallon and $3 per gallon is only $50. I'm not going to let $50 stop me from going where I want to go.

I can olny drive for 6 mos out of the year and I'm not gonna let the price deny me the pleasure of driving my Mighty MoPars!

(Sigh)... This was an unfortunate time for me to get my 1960 Chrysler Windsor back on the road and start driving it... and to think, back in the 1980's, when "Gas was cheap", I was driving Ford Falcons ! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I love my Mighty Wind(sor), but I try to be thoughtful about when & where I drive it... I've been getting 16 mpg around town, and 18 mpg on the highway on trips...

I think I probably take fewer "joy-rides" these days...
