Guest F14CRAZY Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Discovered an odd problem...My left (driver's side) 890 bulb is staying steadily on, along with the left turn signal dash indicator. It goes out when I press the brake.Suggestions? Is it a bad hazard relay/timer? Thank you.Note: this is my '89
89REATTAJIM Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Seriously, just a thought: Does it make a difference if your fog lites are on or off? Are any of your bulbs burned out? Did you double check any ground wires that could have been disturbed during s/c project?
manikmekanik Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 With fog lamps disconnected, I've seen some '88 cars which will keep the parking lamps on all the time. Re-connecting the fog lamps resolves this.Maybe you have a short, or bad bulb in one of your foglamps, or a burnt bulb in that turn signal circuit. Many cars will not flash the T.S. if a bulb is fried.
Guest F14CRAZY Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 I think it's NOT acting up when the fog lights are on. Too early to tell but I'll find out. I checked all my bulbs and they okay (best test is hazards and parking lights at the same time).
