Some LZ parts that need to be identified

Hey Folks -

As far as I know, the bases were the same round piece for both '36s and '37s. Merv Adkins brought a '36 NOS trunklid handle to a swap meet a couple years ago, and besides the color (blue), the one thing that stood out as different to me was that the letters were noticeably thicker. Maybe the difference was intentional or maybe it was differences between suppliers, who knows?

Now the plot thickens, I dug out an early possibly even factory photo of a '36, rear view. The car is sporting a Michigan '35 tag. The decklid is a "T" handle like a Ford. (prototype? very early production using on hand parts?) I'll scan the photo tonight and post it.

It wouldn't surprise me at all, since features of early prototypes rarely match production vehicles exactly. Reminds me about reading in TWOTZ a few issues back how the door handles changed mid-year in '36 from a straight handle piece that could snag sleeves, to one that curved in toward the car.
