novaman
plymouth and chrysler from 46-48 used a 15x4.5 wheel that is also a 5 lug X 4.5 pattern. My interchange manual doesn't say anything about them fitting one way or the other. (manual is only for replace the same item off another car.) You'd have to measure the inside area diameter to make sure it would fit over your brake drums.
Bob Kinker
I have used 15 x 4.5 wheels out of a junk yard on my 50 Plymouth with great results. Just get some 15" Mopar wheels with the 4.5" bolt pattern and you will be set!
edzolz
I had a 46 Dodge coupe and I used a set of 15" steel wheels off of a Dodge Challenger. I think the Challenger was a 70, but those wheels and a set of Michelin radials made for a great ride with the stock suspension.
Guest carlnut50
Like the others said, any wheel with the 5 lug 4.5" pattern will fit the hubs, but if you want to run stock hub caps, get the wheels that have the clips riveted on them. This includes Plym and Dodge thru 1952 for sure and probably thru 1954,also pickup trucks. If you don't care about the hub caps, your choices are much greater. They originally went to 15" in 1948,so if you see a junker, check it out instead of assuming it has 16's.
