Wanted: Hood Vent-Door Springs for '29 645

I've found that I need some parts for the 645 restoration that I've never seen for sale anywhere. So I was hopeing someone else had or had some extras.

It's the springs that hold open the Doors in sides of hood. 5 or the 8 are broken and need replacing if possible. I may be able to weld them together, If I can get them out, but don't know if they will still have enough spring tension to work after welding? Only the long wheelbase cars had that type hood doors. It's a special type spring that would be very difficult to substitute.
