tailfin58 Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Dear Erick,Some time ago I acquired an Original GM Factory Flat Rate manual foryour 1929 Viking. Am I correct in thinking these cars were only produced forabout 18 months ? How many were produced ? Any estimate of survivors ?Is there a club or registry ?Although the Flat Rate Manual is currently in storage with the rest ofmy swap meet literature, I may be able to dig it out and provide you somePictures when I unpack at the Spring Rhinebeck NY carshow/swapmeetin early May. (Do NOT Miss this show if you live in the North East !)Congratulations on finding TWO !of these rare Automobiles,John B.Western Mass.
nhenderson Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Eric - I have just purchased what I think may be a 1930 Viking conv coupe. It consists of a body (no doors or deck lid or grille) I can find no pictures that help me. The gauge cluster onsists of three oval gauges set in an oval area of the dash. the car looks very much like a 1931 Buick conv coupe. Any information you could give me would be appeciated. Thanks Norm H.
