Guest imported_dantm4 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Where does the vacuum hose from the back of the valve go in the cruise control system? Mine is routed to a plastic hose that fits inside the diameter of the vacuum hose which seems to contradict the whole concept of vacuum (this isn't exactly a tight fit connection). Is this the proper way or am I missing a connection somehow. Wish I had taken pictures but hopefully someone can understand from my explanation. -Dan90' Black/Tan Coupe
Guest imported_dantm4 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I looked at that, guess it helps others understand me though. It's the hose near the number 7? What does it go to? What should it be connected to?-Dan
Guest imported_dantm4 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 BTW not the hose that is pictured, the one that comes off the valve towards the firewall that is not really pictured. -Dan
Guest MauiWowee Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I think what you are referring to is the hose that goes throough the firewall to a valve next to the steering column. Others may have referred to it as a dump valve. Any loss of vacumm in the system would prevent proper operation of your cruise.
