53 Roadmaster

Hi I just bought a 53 Roadmaster thats the god news now about the bad I live in Mexico so I really dont have acces to repair parts so easilly and besides that im new in the classic cars hobby so I really need some help here I want to now what kind of oil should I use for the engine and also for the Dynaflow transmisión and where can I find the deposit for the steering liquid and wich one to use well as you can see maybe I didnt know what kind of trouble I get into but this car deserves some TLC so if anyone can help me please I would be gratefull.

If you can find some, use Type "A" transmission fluid for the transmission. If you cannot find that, use Dexron transmission fluid. In the engine, I use 30-weight oil in older cars. Since you are in a warm climate, 30-weight oil will probably be okay through the winter.

The power steering fluid goes in the large round reservoir at the top front of the engine. You have to undo the large bolt that holds the lid down--I think it is a 9/16ths bolt.

Thanks a lot I will start checking my oil and fluid levels for a start and then have some driving to see what else apears
