tgjr49er Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Want to start on restoration of a 1930 Pontiac Coupe. Finally have all 4 wheels off the car and the rotten tires cut off. Need to get the wheels in shape with new tires so that I can get it rolling into my garage. Its currently on blocks outside covered up. Will need any suggestions what to do about the wheels. Might need some wheel hardware and brakes parts. Wonder about a copy of any repair/service/parts manual(s) if they exist. Any restoration contacts for the wheels?? Thanks....tom
Guest Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 There is nothing secret about re doing Jaxon Wood spoke wheels. Stripper, sandpaper and a piece of broken glass to scrape the spokes. Real easy. All you need is time and patience. I have all the parts, shop and service manuals if you want to PM me about anything in particular.
