saillore
I have recently purchased a '90 TC 3.0L V6, which I would like to fit with wire wheels and possibly larger dia. tires. I have lots of questions! Will the car take a larger tire than the 24" OD (15") standard tire, or will this cause it to chaff or rub with full right and left rudder? What is the best quality and/or best looking wire wheel, and where do I find it? In my search so far, it appears 15" 5 bolts on a 4" circle (100mm) is not that common. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, John Bacon, St. Augustine, FL
skydad
I think 16" wheels will fit O.K. Go to ebay motors and do a search under wheels. There are thousands of them there.
Guest inthespot
Be sure to get FWD as I understand the offset is different than RWD wheels. I am not sure but you might ask.
Willhelm Reichert
Real wire wheels are a pain. The spokes need truing once in a while and you have to use tubes which build up extra heat.
cowancom
As far as I know there is only 1 REAL true spoke rim manufacturer left. I know of 4 people here in Florida with Dayton wire wheels on their T/C's.http://www.daytonwirewheels.com/
Guest Jeffn
I have 205/50/17s on mine with zero problems. Am trying 225/45s tomorrow. Offset is +30/35mm? My rims are Neon SRTs
