Are you sure. Because my car does not have a

ring around it just a screw on the bottom of

the light that holds the lens in.

This car is pretty much all original car.

with only 39,000 miles.

Lenzke's <span style="font-style: italic">Standard Catalogue of Chrysler 1914-2000</span> describes the D2's headlight buckets as having chrome trim rings. My P2 has 'em too.
