If you didn't, please email me: robertperry@citlink.net .Attached is a photo of my 36 Dodge dashboard and I think some things have been changed around on mine. I'd like to return mine to the factory original layout. Will others with a 36 Dodge also let me know how your dashboards are arranged.thanks, Robt
Adcap Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 rob i got your emails i am not home right now.but when i get home i will take some pictures and send them. is that a glove box on the leftthey put a radio there in my car. The guyi bought from said he would mail me thatglove box plus missing wiper. the two empty holesare where i said the lights go. Do you have chrome rings around your headlights?
Guest Rob1960 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I don't think that left hand compartment will open, on my car. I need to get up under the dashboard and take a better look. As to rings around the light, I'm not sure what you're speaking of. I've attached a front photo of mine.

DodgeSavesUMoney Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Hi Rob,Working left to right, on my car, the switch that is your lights is a cigarette/cigar lighter. The door behind it does not open, I think it looks that way to balance the dash out, look-wise. The hole on the top, left side is the headlight switch. That switch is supposed to have a little light in it so the center of the switch lights up when the high beams are on. The top, right side hole is for the dash lights. I have no idea what the hole is above the ashtray on the right hand side. It could have been for a choke but even that would have been a workaround someone put in because the engine has an automatic choke. The hole beneath the ashtray on the right is the throttle and would be a cable pull knob with a "T" in the middle of it.I've attached a photo of mine. When you look at it, ignore the gold ring around my ignition switch. The previous owner replaced it with the wrong one and that gold ring holds the switch in place. Just another thing on my parts wish list!Looks like a great car. If you want to share photos, such as burning a bunch of photos on a CD of all angles of the car let me know. I can't claim mine is fully restored nor everything correct on it, but it's a driver so the condition it is in is just fine for me. Your car looks great, I love the color.
