1956 special carburetor

Hello everyone.

I am hoping someone could tell me where I might get

a carter 2bbl carburetor, tag number # 2400s for my

56 special. The one I have is in rough shape and has

been apart many times. Any info would be greatly

appreciated.

I have a Carter 2bbl WCD carb that you can have for free (you cover shipping), if that is what you are looking for. I don't see a number on it anywhere that is #2400s, so you'll have to give me some more clues as to where to look. I have that 2bbl carb and a 2bbl intake for a 322 nailhead that for some strange reason were in the trunk of my 56 Super when I recovered her.

in the box on E-bay right after I posted this. Worked out great. But
